this is good

The Bottom Line

If you don't feel like going out, then you don't have to go out. Listen to yourself.

In Detail

Keep in mind that you (not your friends, not your family and not your sweetheart) are in charge of your social life. So if you don't feel like going out, then you don't have to go out. Contrary to what others may say, this is the mature position to take. However, there are two exceptions to this rule: birthday parties and work events. Put in an appearance, be as chipper as possible and then head home to relax the way you really need to. Listen to your soul when it's telling you to stay home.
